To my sweet little loves:
This month has been challenging...mainly because little guy had his surgery this month - tonsils out, adenoids out again, and tube in. The surgery went great....but I missed that smile while we were in the recovery area and the first couple of days at home. I'm glad it came back even though there was some obvious pain going on. I am also very thankful that recovery went as well as it did...much better than the ear surgery back in October. Hopefully it will mark the end of our season of sickness as well.
Plus we managed to get in our annual Bluebonnet pictures. We have done this every year since you guys were probably 6 or 7 months old. I was a little bummed thinking we might not get into the Bluebonnets before they faded so I was so glad when we made it.
We also took the time to take pictures in your uniforms for the activities you guys are in now. E is our little ballerina and N is our soccer star. I love how you both light up with your activities. You both have found a place where you can shine. I can't wait for E's recital and love going to N's games. We had to miss a couple of games for the surgery but should be back up and at them this coming week. I hope you guys always find activities that you love this much - ones that build your confidence and let you know that you can do what you set your mind to.
Also glad we got our puppy in the picture with you guys! She is definitely one of the family.
I love you guys so much! You have such a huge part of my heart. I hope you know that I'm so proud of you guys!!
Love,
Mom

I am participating in a blog circle with a great group of moms who are writing letters to their children as well. We're doing it together as a way of supporting each other and as a reminder to keep writing when life gets so busy. I'm so glad to be a part of such a great group of ladies. You can follow our circle with Jennifer's sweet letter next.
