Preparing for Your Newborn Session

Congratulations on your new little blessing on the way!!  It's such an exciting time! 

I am super excited about your newborn session too!  My goal for your session is that you not only get absolutely beautiful pictures but also that you can relax and have a great time throughout the session as well.  I put together some tips that I hope will let you know exactly what to expect at your session.

Baby It's Cold Outside {A Letter to My Children}

 

A letter to my babies:

 

I can't believe how fast time is flying.  In a little over 6 months you guys are going to start pre-school.  That is so bittersweet for me.  I love that you will be learning new things and will have the chance to start adjusting to the idea of kindergarten but it makes me sad that you won't be with me the whole day.  I won't get to see everything about your daily life and be there if you need me to be.   So I am determined that we will make the most of the next 6 months.  :-)



 

It's been a really chilly winter for us so far this year so we've been bundling up and getting outside and going to fun play dates.  This past week we finally made it to the park I've been wanting to take your pictures at.  You would pose for sweet pictures for me in exchange for a chance to run up and down the hill in between poses.  We had a lot of fun!  :-)

 

I love you guys to pieces and am very excited about all the great things that are in your future...but I'm definitely going to have a hard time loosening my grip and letting you guys grow and fly.  You are my little blessings for sure.

Newborn | Baby Amberlynn {Farmersville TX Newborn Photographer}

Meet my new (great) niece - Baby Amberylnn.  Isn't she absolutely beautiful?!  She was a New Years Eve baby and the perfect note to end 2013 on.  I can't wait for all the snuggles and loves that are sure to come.  :-)

 

Her great granddaddy is a Texas A&M Aggie so of course he is "starting her off right".  Heehee!

A Visit from the Tooth Fairy | Miss Anna {Frisco TX Childrens Photography}

We recently had a play date with a little friend who had her first visit from the tooth fairy over Christmas.  She lost not one but TWO teeth.  :-)  Her mom, one of my best friends, emailed me and told me they needed year book pictures for her kindergarten yearbook and they wanted her to have a memory of how cute she looks right now - like a toothless princess.  So before our play date got started we made a quick trip to Frisco Central Park to take a few pictures for them.  Here are some of my absolute favorites:

Introducing Newborn Sweetheart Sessions

 

Babies are so amazing! They are such big blessings wrapped in such little packages. I loved the opportunity I had last year to start my newborn photography journey. Because of that I would like to introduce my new special - the Newborn Sweetheart Session.

Now until Valentine's Day (February 14th, 2014), book a newborn session with me and you will receive a $25 discount on your session. Your newborn session will include:

• 3-4 hour session in your home (or outdoors if you prefer)
• 20-25 images on disk
• Discounted price of $150 (Regular $175)  

Also I will discount your maternity session as well. You can choose:

• Maternity Mini-Session for $75 (regularly $85) : 30 minute session with 10-15 images on disk
• Maternity Full Session for $125 (regularly $135): 1 hour session with 20-25 images on disk

Best Face of 2013 {I Heart Faces Challenge}

I Heart Faces is a website I have followed for several years now.  They have always had such great educational information for photographers and fun challenges too.  Here is my entry for the "Best Face of 2013".  Isn't she just a doll?  She had the absolute cutest smiles.  Doesn't she make you want to put all your work away for the day and just find a nice field to relax and play in?

Christmas Mini Sessions | The Russell Family {Allen, TX Family Photography}

 

I am so excited to share this session.  We took it earlier in the year but held on to it so that they could surprise their family with their Christmas cards.  This family has been such a blessing to me in my photography journey.  I love that I get to photograph their kids and watch them grow.  I also love that I get to call them my friends.  Thank you guys so much for letting me take pictures for you!
