Capturing You - 90 Second Challenge {Letters to our Children}

To my sweet little ones:

I was recently challenged to a 90 second challenge.  The idea was to capture as many of your expressions as I possibly could.  I loved this challenge!  We had such a great time doing it.  We all giggled the whole time and now I can remember all those sweet faces that make you guys you.

I absolutely love how your sweetness showed through my sugars.  I love how your excitement and spunk showed through for you my Mister.  I love all of your many faces!!

So what's new for us this month?  We just finished up Spring Break.  First we took a fun trip with Daddy to Austin where we enjoyed yummy burgers from the Roaring Fork (So, so good!!), going to the Austin Arboretum, and snuggling up in the hotel on the rainy day.  Then Grandma came and visited with us for the rest of the week.  We had a wonderful time with her.  We went to the play ground and played baseball.  You guys were both so excited that you could outrun me to get home runs.  :-)  We made Easter chicks with Grandma.  (I'll post a picture below.)  Grandma read you guys lots and lots of books and we just really enjoyed the week!

We head back to school this week which you guys are so looking forward too.  I love that you guys are so excited about school.  I also love that the weather is finally getting pretty enough to play outside more.  You guys enjoyed the snow/ice storms we had the last couple of weeks but the sunshine is always so much better!  I'm very much looking forward to Spring with you guys!!

Look who is turning one soon!  This cute little guy was all smiles at his one year session.  Isn't he just adorable?!

He was so excited about his cake!  I absolutely LOVE watching little ones with their smash cakes.  Cute, cute, cute!!  Thank you sweet Calvin for being the perfect little model and happy birthday!!

2015 Texas Bluebonnet Season

I'm so excited that Spring and Bluebonnet Season will be here soon!!  I absolutely love this time of year!!  The prediction is the Bluebonnets will be in peak season the first couple of weeks in April so now is a great time to start planning your Bluebonnet session.

For us it's a fun tradition in our family to get yearly pictures of our kids in the Bluebonnets.  We started when they were just itty bitty on their little boppies. Now I love to look back and see how much they've grown each year.

Happy Valentine's Day! {A Letter to my Children}

To my sweetest Valentines:

This year has been such an amazing year for us.  I have seen you guys really start to fly this year.  Last year at this time, I was preparing myself to let you go to pre-K in the Fall.  I would be lying to tell you I wasn't nervous for all of us.  But you guys LOVE school and have grown so much from the experience.  I have seen your confidence levels grow and love that you share your adventures with me every day when I pick you up from school.

You guys are so excited about Valentine's this year!  So far this year we have enjoyed taking Valentine pictures together, decorating our house with our few Valentine decorations and all the beautiful hearts you guys have made, making Valentine's for you friends (Hello Kitty and Ninja Turtle Valentine cards of course), and talking about your Valentine's party at school - which I'm so excited I get to be there for. Definitely one of the things I love is seeing school parties through your eyes.  I had a blast being at your Christmas party.

And after your Valentine party we are getting to go to a family Valentine's dance.  I can't wait to dress us all up for our family date.  Such sweet memories to come!! ♥

Look Who's One! {Gunter TX Birthday Photographer}

Time is just passing way too quickly lately!  How did another one of my little clients turn one?  I don't see how its possible!!  This is Liam.  He is the precious little boy my college roommate had last year.  Here are his newborn and 6 month sessions.  See what I mean...just doesn't seem possible he is one already.

But oh my goodness he is such a sweet little guy.  He has the cutest smiles and I quickly discovered he LOVES Mickey Mouse.  My favorite part though, the sweet snuggles he gave me when we were done with pictures.  I could have snuggled him all day long.  Such sweetness!!  ♥

OMG....these two are about as cute as they come!  I loved doing their Valentine shoot this year.  My favorite thing ever - I get such sweet hugs from them when I see them.  Can you tell I had a hard time picking just a few favorites?  :-)

I'm so glad to have this sweet family as friends and absolutely love that I'm getting to watch these two as they grow!  ♥
