Can you believe it's almost Christmas?! As crazy as this year has been, it's hard to believe we've almost made it to one of my favorite holidays. I'm so glad with everything we've missed this year though that I didn't miss out on getting to take pictures of these sweet friends. It was so nice to get to catch up and visit in person (even if from a distance).

Allen High School Senior 2021

The seniors of 2021 have definitely dealt with some challenges and disappointments this year, but it's so nice that they can experience at least some of the normal excitement and milestones that their senior year has to offer...including being able to take senior pictures. Congratulations to this amazing 2021 Allen High School graduate!

I miss getting to photograph newborns in their homes and am so looking forward to when we can do that again. But I feel like now is the time to make lemonade from those lemons. We can still do newborn pictures in a more creative fashion. We can find creative ways to do a lot of what we used to do. I'm up for the challenge. Let's do this! #newbornphotography

Graduation 2020 {Cap and Gown Pictures in Gunter TX}

I was so honored to be able to do cap and gown photos for our Gunter High School valedictorian. In spite of everything that has been thrown at our graduates this year, I know after meeting her she will be doing amazing things in her future. Her and her mom were so sweet and so positive. It made me realize that even though we've lived in Gunter a little over 9 years now, there are still so many nice people here we haven't met. I am looking forward to when we can all get out and socialize again and getting to meet some more of the great people in our community around us.

Summer 2020 Sessions are back! {McKinney TX Family Photography}

I'm so excited to be able to take pictures again. I have loved being able to see sweet families again - to take their pictures and just to be able to talk to them. I loved getting to catch up with this sweet family especially and to meet their newest little girl. I'm so glad this is one of the things we can do as we practice social distancing. This has definitely been such a blessing to me. ♥

2020 Texas Bluebonnets {Gunter, TX Photography}

I miss being able to take pictures so much!  We did get to do our yearly family bluebonnet pictures in our own bluebonnet field with a tripod - which was so nice.  It was almost like a little slice of normal.  I can't wait until we are able to get back out there. 

2020 Texas Bluebonnet Pictures during the Pandemic

Every year since my kids were born, we have taken our kids pictures in the bluebonnets. It has become one of my favorite yearly traditions. If it's one of your favorite traditions too, I would love to help you create your own bluebonnet pictures this year.

My husband was awesome and let me use him as my model to show you how it works. You would need to take a picture of your kid(s) outside (preferably in the shade so the light is nice and even on them). I have posted two examples with my husband - one where I took the picture standing slighting taller than him and one where I got down at his eye level to take my picture.

Once you have your picture, here is how it would work:

1. You would send me your (non-copyrighted) picture of your little one(s).

2. You would then pay a $20 invoice for the first picture and then $5 for each additional picture you wanted.

3. Then I would create your picture(s) and send it to you digitally.

I know this time may bring some mixed emotions - so much love but also some disappointment for missing out on some of the things you were hoping would happen. Maybe one of the things you were hoping for were newborn portraits. If so, this is one of the things I would love to help you with. While I can't take pictures for you at this time because of the pandemic, I would love to still help you if I can. I have a brochure I would be happy to send you (at no charge) that walks you through the process of doing your own newborn pictures at home. Just sent me a message if you would like me to send it to you. Also feel free to email any questions you may have. I would love to help!

Easter Pictures 2020

I know we are all missing out on some of the things we enjoy this year. With Easter coming up this weekend, I wanted to offer an alternative for at least one of the things you might be missing. If you want a picture of your kids with the Easter bunny (like the one below), I would be happy to create one for you.

1. You would send me a (non-copyrighted) picture of your little one.

2. You would need to pay a $10 invoice.

3. Then I would create your picture and send it to you digitally.
