Happy 4th of July and Summertime Fun {A Letter to My Children}

To my beautiful babies:

I love that we are getting to enjoy our summer together.  I love our summer vacations.  We went to Disney Land California this year and had such a blast. We started the morning with a breakfast with the characters, went and met some princesses (Arial, Cinderella, and Aurora), road fun rides (like Noah's favorite the Star Wars ride and the tea cups), saw a show with Emily's favorite princess (Princess Tiana), and just had a great time.  We also got to spent a day at the beach in San Diego.  You guys loved the water and burying Daddy in the sand.  Only bad part was I forgot to check and see if our sunscreen was waterproof so we all ended up with some nice sunburns.  But other than that, hotel swimming pools and fireworks at Roswell, NM were a lot of fun.  I can't wait to go on our next vacation!

We also have really been enjoying play dates since we've been back.  I love that we have been able to catch up with all of our friends who have summer off from school.  That will be us next year.

Here are some pictures from a recent watermelon play date we had with some of our friends from our photography play group.  You guys had so much fun with your watermelons, cookies and the nearby splash park.
