2015 Texas Bluebonnets {Letters to my Children}

My letter to my little loves this month:

We have a yearly Spring tradition that we started the first year you guys were born.  Every year we take your pictures in the beautiful Texas Bluebonnets.  I love it because I can look back each year and see how much you guys have grown.  Each year I'm amazed at how much you guys have changed.

Also I have a confession, the older you guys get the more I realize that being a Mom is hard.  You guys come to me with different situations and I find myself trying to make sure I give you the best advice on how to handle things.  One of the things we've been doing that I love, is when we're unsure we pray about it.  Little guy you heard me and sister talking about something in the car one evening that we were trying to figure out and all of a sudden you said I know...and then you said a quick prayer for her.  When she told us the next day that it all worked out you said I know I prayed for you.  I love that you are both learning how big God is in our lives.  It's such a great reminder for me too!

I have learned so much from being ya'lls Momma!  I am definitely very blessed!!  I love you guys to the moon and back!!

Love,
Mommy

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.  {Psalm 139:14} - I hope you guys always know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made!!

I am participating in a blog circle with a great group of moms who are writing letters to their children as well.  We're doing it together as a way of supporting each other and as a reminder to keep writing when life gets so busy.  I'm so glad to be a part of such a great group of ladies.  You can follow our circle with Leah's sweet letter next.

  3. Wow, what a precious thing to do! I am loving that a lot of us in our circle have mentioned how important Jesus is to our kiddos this month. Who knew so many of us were sisters in Christ as well. So cool!!! Anyways- looove your bluebonnet photos. We also started doing that the very first year we moved here in 2009, and have always done it since. :)
